Tokyo shares rocket with Nikkei hitting nearly 5-month high TOKYO, June 19 (Xinhua) — Tokyo stocks rocketed by ending the intraday deals with its benchmark Nikkei index surging to nearly a five-month high on Thursday, boosted by upbeat sentiment that the United States will remain its monetary easing.
